Declaration

This website is being produced strictly for my own pleasure and along the theme of learning codeigniter. It does not now, nor will it in the future probably hold much of interest to anyone but myself. Of course not being able to tell the future who knows?

Bio

Michigan Farm raised, educated all the way up to High School. In fact I went to the same high school my mother did. Worked my dads farm and on a 5000 acre ranch at the same time.

I went to college for electronics, was on a carpenter apprenticeship before finally landing in a plastics factory. I worked for 26 years in various quality, lab management and statistics positions.

Interests

Reading, building and operating computers, programming with PHP and MYSQL(most definitly a novice)and now trying my hand at codeigniter, music in a few forms, reading, being in the mountains and seeing the world turn, reading, chatting at Jmeeting and the Yahoo message boards, watching educational TV documentarys, understanding the space in my head and coming up short

I was introduced to chill music for the first time in Australia. I was with two friends in a music store and they were playing baby Mammoth. The song was "and I will see you", and it was so incredibly different. It basically started out in the background and then just burst into my consciousness like a sudden realization of happiness. One of the girls I was with whisper to me to stop moving my hips so much. I didn't realize I was moving with the music. So I told her that as an American I did not hide my expression of music. I suppose it was easier than just being embarrassed.in any case I purchased the album that was playing which was titled "your lounge, your music volume 3" and listen to it for an entire 15 hour flight back to the states. Now I have shelf after shelf not to mention a hard drive full of chill music in all of its forms and variations. I guess you could call me a devote of the genre
